I personally found Ryuuk to be a pinch too entertained by humans. But it seemed at times that normal human nature just intrigued him endlessly... perhaps it was more so how human's feelings about personal space could change so dramatically based simply on which side of the bathroom door they were on.

Regardless, Ryuuk made it rather hard to concentrate on the important things at times.
