Thank you to everyone who sent me very kind birthday wishes. They meant a lot to me and it was a delight to read through the messages of old friends and new.
My birthday celebration this year is as exciting as it was last year, with a vacation to Las Vegas, then to Seattle and then to Portland.

He Has Returned!

To my many followers!
My humblest apologies for being away! Life has been both exciting and eventful, but how could I ever forget about the lot of you?
The Highlights: I have Sherlock photos that I've been looking forward to posting since season 3 aired. Go tell John that he's a cool bro, because he's a cool bro and we hung by handcuffs for the sake of a good picture.
The Lowlights: I'm finishing the last available Game of Thrones book and I still can't decide on anyone I can cosplay. These guys are just too cool for me. IF Arianne Martell was still wedding Viserys Targaryen then I'd be the dragon, for sure. But right now, all the guys I could be are missing parts.
Update on other cosplays: I said i'm going to cosplay Fenris from Dragon Age 2, and I still certainly am. I have some pictures of Cecil Baldwin floating around, and I plan to get those up, but they haven't been given to me YET. I want to get my old costumes in circulation again. Anyone want to go ghost hunting as Panty and Stocking with a Brief?

The Musketeers!

This year has been pretty crazy and hectic. I have been jumping from one costume to the next and somehow I manage to get them done in time.
I was under some silly impression that this week, while my costumes are done, conventions are far off, my partner is out of town, and I'm not obligated to be anywhere I might be able to get online and put up some pictures.
But then someone invited me to be a musketeer. and not just any musketeer, my FAVORITE musketeer. D'Artagnan! I'm probably going to have scarce time to sleep or shower this week, much less get online. i've already given up on eating, haha. But it is worth it! for art!
(the majority of my friends cosplay from visual media, is there anyone else out there cosplaying from books? Any tips on how to bring your character to life when everyone has a different visualization of a character?)

I keep telling myself how I will get online and put up some old pictures, but things keep coming up!
These past couple of seasons have been crazy and I feel like i've been missing a serious part of my family by being away!
